A note from Andy
How is yours looking right now?
People start looking at their Everhot a bit differently around this time of year.

Through the winter, most cookers are working overtime, cooking up roast dinners and warming the house.
Then spring comes along, the weather lightens up, and suddenly you notice the marks, the splashes, the bits that have built up on your cooker over time…
It’s nothing major, just the sort of things that creep in when a cooker is getting plenty of attention.
So, I thought I’d share a few simple tips that’ll get your cooker looking good as new in no time.
To clean the front:
Just hot water and a bit of washing-up liquid. That’s all it really needs. No harsh cleaners, no scrubbing away – in fact, that’s usually where people go wrong!
Inside the doors:
The doors lift off (they’re heavier than people expect), and once they’re on a towel on the worktop, you can take your time with them. If you work gently and go with the grain of the stainless steel, they come up like new.
The top and surround:
This gets the most use day-to-day. Again, just using soap and hot water is fine. But the best habit is taking two minutes to wipe it down each time after cooking.
I think that’s the key with these cookers…
They’re not the sort of thing you need to “deep clean” all the time. They just respond well to a bit of regular attention.
And if something has been left a while and needs a bit more work, it’s usually still very recoverable.
If you find your cooker does need an even deeper clean, I’d recommend following the advice in Everhot cleaning guides here:
• Cleaning your Everhot surround
• Cleaning inside your oven doors
• Cleaning the front of your Everhot
And if you’re unsure about anything – what to use, how to take something apart, or whether something is better left alone – just reply to this and I’ll point you in the right direction.
