A note from Andy
The big question
A couple were standing in front of the display cookers, happily chatting about features, sizes, ovens, and hobs…
Everything was going smoothly; they’d all but decided on an Everhot.
But then came that question…
“So, what colour?”
In some cases – not all – what starts as an innocuous question can turn into an hour-long debate.
So, I either take a step back and let it play out or, if they ask, I’ll carefully offer unbiased advice.
They had a dark green kitchen in mind, and so I’ll often lean towards something that contrasts. But there’s no rule, just that feeling when you know you’ve found the right one.

I showed them a few photos similar to their kitchen with some contrasting cookers, and you could see it happen – that “oh… actually…” moment.
That’s what I love about the colour stage. It’s most people’s favourite part.
Everyone arrives thinking they know exactly what they want, but once they start seeing the enamel samples in real light, side by side, the whole picture changes.
Between Everhot’s 22 shades, Lacanche’s 29 colours, and ESSE’s 10 finishes, there’s a proper spectrum to consider.
We’ve got every colour here in the showroom — every Everhot door, all the Lacanche swatches and trims, and the full ESSE board — so you can lay them out with samples of your cupboards, worktop, and flooring to see which colour brings your kitchen to life.
