About 15 years ago, I held a cookery demonstration in the showroom that went slightly wrong...

All things were going swimmingly until a customer asked a question about our wood-fired cookers. Since we'd about finished showing everyone the electric cookers, we figured we had time to add a wood-fired cooker into the mix.

But in the hurry to get it fired up, we inadvertently filled the packed showroom with a cloud of smoke!

Anyway, why am I bringing this up now? Because Sarah Whitaker, who was at that cookery demonstration 15 years ago, is returning this September for another one.

(This time we don't plan on filling the room with smoke!)

Sarah is famously known as the "Cast Iron Lady" for her expertise in cast iron cooking. And she's a bit of a celebrity having appeared on many cooking shows, authored multiple cookbooks, and runs her own cookery school, so I'm extremely grateful I was able to arrange this demonstration with her...

Although I say it's a demonstration, you should really think of it like an open day where you can come and go, watch (and taste!) continual cooking, ask any questions, and see our ESSE cookers in action.

So, mark your calendars for September 18th (this has been and gone)

Given Sarah's reputation, I imagine people will be eager to come down. So, don't miss your chance to see the Cast Iron Lady in action.
