We've really come a long way in a relatively short space of time...

200 years ago, people would've been cooking over wood-fired stoves. 100 years ago, it was coal. And today, it's mostly electric cookers.

But the innovation hasn't stopped...

One cooker that's recently gone one step further is Rayburn.

While oil-fired stoves aren't exactly new, what can fuel them has changed.

And Rayburn's latest Heatranger models can now run on hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), yes, vegetable oil.

This isn't your chip fryer's leftovers, though. HVO is a super-clean, renewable fuel made from waste oils and fats. So you get all the warmth and charm of a classic Rayburn, but with up to 90% fewer greenhouse gases.

If you're interested, you can read about it here.

It's quite a leap from the smoky days of wood and coal!

I think it's incredible that Rayburn can keep the nostalgic feel of an oil-fired cooker while embracing a greener fuel source.

And if you're curious about how this sustainable shift could work in your own kitchen, pop by the showroom and I can show you first hand.

Warm regards,
Andy
