I've been watching the dog show Crufts this year (the winner was a gorgeous Australian Shepherd called Viking), and it reminded me of a recent customer...

They visited the showroom and brought along two friendly Jack Russell Terriers.

After they'd settled on an Everhot cooker, they said:

"The dogs are going to love it".

That comment struck me because it's SO true...

(And I've begun to notice it's something I actually hear quite regularly).

Back when I had my rottweiler, you would always find him curled up in the kitchen next to the cooker. It was the warmest place in the house and so, naturally, it was his favourite spot.

Dogs simply adore the residual heat.

And not just dogs - I'm willing to bet that you'd find most pets basking in the warmth of a new range cooker before long.

So, a word of warning...

If you have any pets and are thinking about getting a range cooker, you might have to sacrifice a near-permanent spot in your kitchen for them to curl up!
