A note from Andy
I wish I'd known that sooner

I've got six Everhot cookbooks sitting in the showroom ready to give out for free.
Once they're gone, they're gone.
Normally, most people only get one when their new cooker's delivered, though it is possible to buy separately. So this is a rare chance to grab one for free. I've managed to get hold of a few spare copies, and I wanted to offer them to existing customers and readers first — in the showroom, first-come, first-served.
Since I only have six, I know plenty of people will miss out. So I want to share a few of the standout tips and recipes from its 250 pages, because really, it's more than a cookbook — it teaches you how to get the best out of the cooker.
If there's one thing I've learnt over the years, it's that people don't buy an Everhot because they want another oven. They buy one because they want to cook differently: a bit slower, a bit more naturally, without constantly checking timers and temperatures. The cookbook helps with that.
One of my favourite ideas in there is the Slow-Cooked Tuscan Lamb with Tomato Sauce. Lamb shoulder, browned off then slow-cooked in the oven with wine, tomatoes, and cannellini beans for around four hours, until it's tender enough to pull apart with a fork. Come back a few hours later and it's ready — no watching, no fiddling.
The book also explains the different cooking zones well. Most new owners instinctively use the Everhot like a conventional cooker, then a few weeks later realise they've only been using half of what it can do. The simmering plate is for gentle, hands-on cooking — vegetables, eggs, pancakes, drop scones. The lower oven is for simmering, slow cooking, and warming. And the top oven houses a powerful grill, ideal for browning, crisping, and finishing dishes properly rather than leaving them under a weak conventional grill.
That's usually the point people stop treating it like a normal oven.
Whenever I speak to customers who've had their Everhot a few years, they often say some version of: "I wish I'd known that sooner." That's exactly what the cookbook helps with.
So if you've already got an Everhot and you'd like one of the six copies, pop into the showroom as soon as you can. I'd much rather see them being used than sitting on a shelf.
