Andy White

A note from Andy

They don’t do this often…

Lacanche don’t bring out new colours very often. In fact, it’s usually a few years between them. So when they do, it feels like exciting news for me!

Although for you, it’s perhaps only somewhat interesting…

Still though, I thought I’d share it with you because, depending on your kitchen, this one could be a stunner.

It’s called Duck Blue.

And it’s always difficult describing colours like this properly…

On paper, it sits somewhere between a soft blue and a slightly deeper, moodier tone.

But that doesn’t really tell you much. Fortunately, it doesn’t need to because here’s a photo:

I’ve looked at the sample, and it’s one of those colours that changes depending on the light.

Some angles it feels quite calm and muted, other times it has a lot more depth to it.

And it’s very hard to sense that from a screen…

Which is exactly why I’ve already ordered one in this colour for display in the showroom.

Because with any cooker, but particularly Lacanche, the colour is such a big part of the decision.

People don’t just pick a cooker – they want to choose something that sets the tone for the whole kitchen.

So, we’ll have it on display as a Lacanche Rully from their Classic range; it’s one of the more compact models, nothing over the top, just a good, usable size that fits into most kitchens.

As soon as it arrives, I’m sure it’ll end up in a lot of conversations.

With any new colour, I know some people will love it straight away. Others will need to see it next to their worktop or cabinets before it clicks.

Whichever you may be, you’re welcome to come and have a look – I’ll let you know once it’s here.
