A note from Andy
What’s on your spreadsheet?
I had a phone call this week that made me laugh.

A woman rang the showroom, and within about five seconds said:
“Are you the guy from the videos?”
Apparently she recognised my voice straight away!
She’s coming in later this week to look around properly, but what really caught my attention was something else she mentioned…
She said that while she’d been watching the videos, she was building a spreadsheet.
Different cookers in columns – Everhot, ESSE, Rayburn and Heritage were all on there – and their pros and cons, running costs, sizes, that sort of thing.
I love hearing this sort of thing because it tells me how people are not simply browsing, they’re doing proper, thorough research; trying to understand which of these cookers would actually suit their lives.
And in her case, the thing she kept coming back to was background heat.
Not “which one looks nicest”. But “which one will make the room feel right”.
That’s exactly the kind of question I enjoy talking about in person.
Because a spreadsheet can take you a long way…
But it can’t tell you how warm a room feels when you walk into it. Or what it’s like to stand next to a cooker that’s been ticking along all day.
So if you’re the sort of person who likes to compare, shortlist, make notes, and think things through properly, you’re in good company.
I seem to be getting more and more of you lately.
And whether your system is a spreadsheet, a notebook, or just a head full of questions, the showroom is where all of that finally starts to make sense.
Please feel welcome to come down whenever you’d like.
